In 2017, our founders, Gil and YuHsin, started on an exciting journey with their online store, offering beautiful Bali handcrafted bags and home decorations to the world. The business took off quickly. However, a persistent challenge loomed from the very beginning: international shipping.
Right from the start, they faced the frustration of limited options - that the existing international courier companies only offered competitive rates to high-volume shippers which inaccessible for a small business like theirs. Leaving the only reasonable choice was relying on the post office.
As the business grew, the daily task of manually filling out the paper forms and waiting in lines and at the post office became a time-consuming and costly ordeal.
Embodying the spirit of "taking matters into your own hands," they embarked on a mission to create a solution that would revolutionize Bali’s international shipping game. With unyielding determination, fueled by countless cups of coffee and working over 80 hours a week, UrShipper emerged from a humble beginning.
